ABOUT TECHNET TRANSATLANTIC
In its second consecutive year, TechNet Transatlantic, organized by AFCEA Europe in collaboration with AFCEA chapters in Stuttgart, Kaiserslautern, and Wiesbaden, continues to serve as a paramount event for the warfighting community within the US Forces in Europe. The event aims to showcase groundbreaking technologies. Last year's theme, "Strengthening Collaboration in C4ISR and Cyber - Key to Battlefield Advantage," underscores the critical importance of collaboration in Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and Cyber domains. This theme reflects the ongoing commitment to leveraging technological advancements in these areas, emphasizing the significance of cooperation in gaining a decisive advantage on the battlefield. TechNet Transatlantic stands as an essential forum for fostering innovation and collaboration, ensuring that the warfighting community remains at the forefront of evolving capabilities and technologies.

ABOUT TECHNET EUROPE
TechNet Europe, as per annual tradition, is an international event organised by AFCEA Europe, in cooperation with a local AFCEA chapter, which takes place every autumn, in a European capital city. The conference and exhibition is regularly held under the patronage of the host country's Minister of Defence. The goal of TechNet Europe is to bring together European and US professionals in order to discuss IT-related subjects of relevance to defence, intelligence, and security of the host country and the European geographical area. Also, the newest conceptual and policy information from NATO and the EU was presented. Traditional topics include Cybersecurity, C4ISR, 5G, Cloud Technology, Data Analytics, Quantum Computing, Edge Computing, Defense against Information warfare, Defense against Hybrid warfare and many more.
TechNet Europe 2023, held in London, brought together representatives from NATO and EU institutions and agencies, the UK MoD, and many national governments and industry from 33 countries under the title: The New Face of War? Refresh the Approach to the Digitalisation of our Armed Forces!

AFCEA Stuttgart Chapter 162
Golf Classic 2023
The AFCEA Stuttgart Chapter is hosting our 18th Annual Golf Classic on Friday, July 28th at the Stuttgart Golf Course.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the AFCEA Stuttgart Annual STEM Scholarship Fund which awarded over $12,000 to Patch High School students after our last golf classic. The event is also a a great opportunity for the Stuttgart Military Community (Government, Military, Industry, Academia) to meet and network in a fun and healthy way.
This is a four-player scramble with awards to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. There will also be prizes awarded for the Longest-drive, Par 3 Hole-in-One and Closest-to-the-Pin.
All participants receive 10-30% off on selected Pro shop merchandise on the day of this tournament.
Check In: 7:00 - 8:00 AM and Start: 8:30 AM
Fees are $75 per person ($300 team of four) and include: green fees, golf cart, driving range, light breakfast, and lunch buffet.

The 52d Strategic Signal Battalion will be having their bi-annual Patch Barracks Tech Expo on July 25 & 26. This event is an excellent opportunity for individuals and installations to discover the latest technology trends, network with industry experts, and learn new skills.
